Can I run with my dog?

Response

No, spectators are welcome to bring dogs, but for runners it is not permitted.

Are there prizes?

Response

Yes! Prizes will be awarded for overall winners, age category winners AND everyone who finishes the race!

Do I need to have done lots of running to complete the 10km course?

Response

No, you could definitely start training now and be ready for June 1st. Of course, the more running you do, the better prepared you will be! Look out for helpful training tips on our social media.

Are road shoes or trail shoes best?

Response

It really depends on the weather leading up to the event. With a section of the 10km run being in the woods, rain may make this part a bit boggy. However, I have always run the Huff in road shoes and found no problem at all! For the 2km fun-run, trainers, trail shoes or football boots are all ok. Again, if it has been wet, football boots would be advised.

What is happening at the pub?

Response

During the run, spectators can buy drinks and cakes and have a good chit chat while they wait. There will then be food, drinks, music and prizes once the 10km race has finished!
